2009 International Lingerie Show

We had the pleasure of attending the 2009 International Lingerie Show in Las Vegas last week. What a trip! If you ever get the opportunity to go to a lingerie show, do it! We had a blast!

Update on Blue Girl Room's plus size line!

We have sexy samples in hand for our new line that covers sizes 14 to 26. We will be debuting the Shades of Blue line in Tampa on May 30th. I will post the details as soon as I get them. If you get the opportunity, stop by and check out our merchandise! I will post the details later this week.

The Plus Size Line is Coming!

Well, it's been a while since we started out on this adventure, and we have had some setbacks, but we are finally getting there! We have a tentative release date of July 1, 2009. We will be hosting a a party on May 30, 2009 in Tampa, Florida to introduce our line to our friends, family, customers, and anyone else interesting in attending. I will post the location and time as soon as we have the specifics worked out. Check back soon for previews of things to come....!

We are currently conducting research into a new line of lingerie for plus size women. We would like to solicit your help in design process. We know that most of the lingerie lines here in the U.S. are not designed or manufactured for plus size women or women with uniquely shaped figures. We want to change that, but we need your help.

Please take the time to fill out our survey. It is 10 questions long and will not take very much time to complete. In order to gather the most accurate information possible, we do ask that you have your bust, hip, waist, height and weight measurements ready prior to taking the survey.

Do you have trouble finding women's plus size lingerie and clothing?

During many conversations with friends, family, coworkers and acquaintances, it has been brought to my attention that the plus size market is greatly underserved. Personally, I am somewhat in between the normal and plus size categories - my size normally runs around 12 to 14, depending on the type of clothing. I have heard that most of the reasonably priced lingerie, bras and panties are difficult to find, inadequate, and just plain boring!!!

I want to change that! I want to make sexy, playful, classy lingerie, bras and panties available to every woman in the world! I want every woman to have the opportunity to feel beautiful and confident under their everyday clothes, or with no clothes on!
